Sr. Consultant, Yardi Support (Commercial)
Location: Charlotte, NC
Type: Full-Time, Salaried - Exempt
Working Hours: 9:00am-5:30pm (for a 6 month training period, after which, employee will be added to a rotating schedule with one late shift per week (12:30pm-9:00pm)
Salary: $65,000 and up, DOE

About the Role
As a senior consultant, you’ll need advanced knowledge to assist clients with implementing, troubleshooting, training, and providing support for our clients using Yardi software. The ideal candidate has leadership experience, is a fast learner, has strong interpersonal and communication skills, strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, proven client management skills, is collaborative, innovative, and possesses the ability to make decisions and manage their own projects. This position will also provide assistance to employees and clients nationwide, in the UK, and in the APAC region, primarily via phone, email, and Teams meetings. The nature of the assistance will vary and may include software setup, data import, user account creation, troubleshooting, triage of issues outside their area of knowledge to the appropriate technical levels, and guiding escalations.
Responsibilities
Serve as the IT Subject Matter Expert for Yardi Voyager suites of applications, such as Yardi Elevate platforms, Yardi Cafe’s solutions, and other integrated applications (Procore, Argus, VTS, etc.)
Apply business and technical expertise to support opportunity assessments in data analysis by identifying and documenting end-user needs, enabling informed decision-making and process improvement.
Provide end-user support to internal (employee) and external (client) groups
Ensure all activities undertaken are compliant with clients’ policies, procedures, and processes
Contribute to the corporate knowledge base to provide standard resolution steps
Support team members as required
Perform special assignments as requested
Ability to document and understand processes
Ability to schedule and attend client meetings
Report status updates and risks to project management, senior management, and our clients
Perform system and business process reviews to identify process improvements and make sound recommendations to clients
Ability to effectively train clients and personnel, manage multiple tasks, and collaborate with all levels of the organization, internal and external
Flexibility to work outside standard business hours, including occasional evening shifts (e.g., 9 PM EST), as needed
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, finance, accounting, or related field of study, and/or at least 7 years of direct experience with Real Estate Operations and software. Previous experience in an on-site property management role is considered a plus.
A solid background in system administration functions is required.
Experience in property onboarding or implementations is preferred but not mandatory.
Demonstrated ability to lead, mentor, and support junior staff, fostering a highly effective and productive team environment.
A high degree of proficiency and understanding of Yardi Voyager 7s, and Elevate products. Experience with Voyager 8 is preferred but not required.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; attention to detail; ability to make decisions and recommendations to multiple lines of the business
Critical thinker with the ability to strategically change directions and make challenging assumptions and/or recommendations to implement new ideas and strategies
Must demonstrate a genuine enthusiasm for learning and professional growth. A strong desire and commitment to continuous learning are essential to this role.

Experience with 3rd party integrations (ex. Procure, Argus, VTS, etc.) is nice to have.

In addition to the technical skills and experience listed above, the ideal candidate for this position would be a self-motivated individual who demonstrates attention to detail, a passion for problem-solving and customer service, and is capable of overcoming obstacles by exercising discipline to diagnose issues where no experience or knowledge is present and extensive research is required. Must enjoy working in a fast-paced environment with a dynamic small team.
