Compensation: $2,000 - $3,000 USD per month (based on experience)

The Role

We're seeking an exceptionally talented Video Editor to join our creative team and produce world-class video content. You'll create cinematic, professional-grade videos that showcase advanced editing, animation, and visual effects techniques. This is a key role for an artist who is passionate about pushing creative boundaries and delivering stunning visual storytelling.

We’re looking for a creative, full time video editor who specializes in music driven content & visual effects. You’ll be editing VFX heavy content, hype reels for music events, & other visually styled projects.

Key Responsibilities

• Edit cinematic-quality video content using advanced editing techniques and professional workflows

• Create sophisticated animations and visual effects using After Effects and comparable tools

• Build 3D environments and effects using Unreal Engine or similar 3D software

• Develop motion graphics that enhance storytelling and brand messaging

• Collaborate with creative directors and clients to understand vision and deliver accordingly

• Manage video projects from concept development through final delivery and revisions

• Maintain brand consistency across all video deliverables while bringing creative innovation

• Troubleshoot technical issues and optimize workflows for efficiency and quality

• Stay current with industry trends, software updates, and emerging production techniques

Festival recap videos (60-second cinematic pieces featuring):

• Cinema-quality After Effects-driven animations

• Integrated 3D elements and environments

• Synchronized music and sound design

• Professional color grading and visual polish

• Custom branded graphics and transitions

Required Qualifications

• Experience working with several Artists and Festivals.

• Expert proficiency in After Effects with demonstrated mastery of advanced features

• Strong VFX capabilities including compositing, keying, and particle effects

• Hands-on experience with 3D environment creation (Unreal Engine, Cinema 4D, Blender, or equivalent)

• Portfolio demonstrating cinematic, high-quality video work with animation and effects

• Proficiency in video editing software (Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or similar)

• Strong creative eye with ability to conceptualize and execute visual ideas

• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality

• Reliable communication and collaboration skills

• Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining exceptional quality standards

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working in a creative agency or with commercial clients

• Knowledge of color grading and audio post-production

• Experience with motion capture or live-action VFX integration

• Familiarity with music industry content and festival marketing

• Experience mentoring or leading junior editors

• Proficiency with additional 3D tools (Maya, Houdini, etc.)
