Veredus are currently seeking a talented Senior UI Engineer - Web Applications to join our client's growing team. For this position, prior experience developing scalable, rich, internet application user interfaces is a must. You must have the desire and ability to learn quickly. Our environment is fast-paced with changes and challenges on a daily basis; the ability to keep up and “hang” with this environment is a necessity. You will be responsible for the implementation of our platform user interface of our brand new product line.

Key Responsibilities
• Design, develop, implement, and maintain front end code as well as some mid-tier code
• Implement new features and optimize existing ones from controller-level to UI
• Implement new, ground-breaking interaction and visualization interfaces
• Rapidly fix bugs and solve problems
• Work closely and effectively with product managers, designers, and software engineers

Qualifications & Experience Requirements
• 7+ years’ experience in launching successful/interactive web applications
• Prior experience working for a startup or software product company
• Adept with web standards and cross-browser quirks
• Fundamentals in object-oriented design, data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, and complexity analysis
Skill Requirements
• Strong JavaScript, AJAX, HTML and CSS skills. Must be an expert in these technologies.
• Experienced working with a variety of JavaScript Frameworks/Libraries including: Ember.js, Backbone.js, Underscore.js, Knockout.js, D3.js, Node.js, jQuery, ExtJS, YUI, etc.
• Experience building Web Application User Interfaces
• Experience with MVC or MVP
• Capable of working on Middle-Tier & Back-End Development if need be
• Experience working with various programming languages: Java, PHP, Python, Perl, or Ruby
• Hands on experience working with various Web APIs
• Prior Google Web Toolkit (GWT) experience is a Plus
Educational Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related study.
