JOB DESCRIPTION – Sr. Technical Producer
Reports To: Sr. Global Producer
Employment Status: Full-Time EMEA Contract Employee [via EOR – REMOTE]
Proposed Effective Date: April 1, 2026
Position Summary (Role):
The Sr. Technical Producer oversees all areas of AV and production management, from point of event confirmation through planning, staffing, execution, and final billing/reconciliation of virtual, hybrid, and live global events. This includes management of timelines, deliverables, and project financials. The individual will also serve as the primary point of contact for internal and external communications on assigned projects.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Event Production
· Oversee all technical aspects of corporate events, conferences, trainings, town halls, board meetings, and livestreams.
· Create production plans, run-of-show documents, equipment lists, and staffing assignment for each event
· Obtain and read all contract documents including but not limited to bids, equipment lists, venue contracts, project timelines, subcontractor contracts and scope of work, venue policies, and cancellation schedules.
· Manage task lists and deliverables using company collaboration tools.
· Coordinate all onsite activities including load in, setup, crew calls/onsite personnel, execution, client relations, load out, and change management.
· Participate in regularly scheduled teleconferences and video calls with clients and colleagues to discuss projects.
· Create work orders for clients using the company quoting system.
· Proactively manage project financials, including work order changes, client and vendor purchase orders, job costs, internal P&L, and clear communication with clients to ensure budget needs are met.
· Collaborates with the Technology, Client Services, Sales and Creative teams to ensure seamless event delivery
· Build long-term relationships with clients by offering proactive guidance, creative solutions, and consistent service quality
Technical Operations & Support
· Translate technical capabilities into clear solutions for clients who may not be familiar with A/V terminology
· Lead and execute high-quality audio, video, lighting, projection, and streaming services.
· Direct technical run-throughs, rehearsals, and cue-to-cue sequencing to ensure seamless execution
· Conduct technical rehearsals, ensure presenters are prepared, and manage all cue execution during live events
· Ability to operate or oversee operation of mixing consoles, video switchers, presentation systems, camera setups, LED walls, and conference platforms
· Troubleshoot real-time technical issues quickly and effectively
Proposals, Quoting & Creative Support
· Support in-house creative department by developing renders within identified timelines
· Assist CEI project managers with creating drawings, renders and visuals
· Assist Sales department with delivery of A/V proposals, including preparation of renders and diagrams
· Support internal quoting discussions by recommending cost-effective solutions that meet production goals.
Required Skills/Expectations:
· Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar senior level role
· Minimum 3 year’s recent audio-visual project management experience in the live and/or virtual events industry
· Demonstrated Advanced VectorWorks 3D Design Software experience [certification highly desired]
· Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask
· Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
· Ability to lead teams of individual working on a project to create collaborative experiences
· Required global travel to execute projects as assigned
