We’re looking for a Senior Technical Accounting Manager to join our world-class accounting team. This role sits at the heart of our financial strategy — leading complex accounting research, implementing policies, and driving U.S. GAAP compliance as we prepare for IPO readiness. This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA, Austin, TX, Fort Collins, CO, Boston, MA.

Who You Are

• Experienced accounting professional with 8+ years of combined Big Four and in-house experience.

• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with deep U.S. GAAP, SEC, and SOX 404 expertise.

• Clear communicator who can simplify complex technical topics for cross-functional teams.

• Detail-driven, analytical, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.

What We Need

• Research, analyze, and document complex accounting issues in compliance with U.S. GAAP.

• Lead technical areas such as revenue recognition, share-based compensation, and M&A accounting.

• Partner with Finance, Legal, and FP&A to ensure alignment on accounting implications.

• Build and refine financial reporting frameworks to meet SEC and IPO-readiness standards.

Compensation for all engineers at Tenstorrent ranges from $100k - $500k including base and variable compensation targets. Experience, skills, education, background and location all impact the actual offer made.
