Key Responsibilities & Core Expertise :
• Provide advanced support for Windows Server (2016/2019/2022) environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve L2 incidents/service requests within SLAs
• Perform system upgrades, migrations, deployments of infrastructure components
• Tune server performance, apply patches/updates, and manage backup/restore operations
• Monitor infrastructure health via tools (e.g., SCCM, Intune, Logic Monitor) and generate reports
• Conduct DR planning and periodic drills; support compliance and change management
• Collaborate with L1 teams to resolve complex issues and ensure clear communication with stakeholders
• Maintain server security posture through audits, hardening, and vulnerability remediation
• Support configuration management, endpoint policies, and software deployment
• Create and maintain SOPs, documentation, and contribute to the IT knowledge base
Technical Proficiency :
• Install/configure Windows Server roles (File, Print, DNS, DHCP, IIS, PKI and other web servers.)
• Administer Active Directory with emphasis on Group Policy architecture, implementation, and strategic planning; manage domain accounts along with NTFS and DFS permissions.
• Support advanced domain controller operations including replication, LDAP troubleshooting, and diagnostics of core components.
• Automate tasks using PowerShell scripting and Scheduled Tasks
• Monitor servers with tools like PerfMon, Resource Monitor, etc.
• Troubleshoot server issues, crashes, service failures, and analyse logs/dumps
• Manage DNS, DHCP (scopes, reservations) and understand basic networking (IP, subnetting, VLANs)
• Operate backup/restore solutions (e.g., Commvault)
• Perform patch management (manual or with 3rd-party tools)
• Ensure security compliance and readiness for audits.
• Daily administration and Support of core Infrastructure, execute quality Changes and perform change requests

• Microsoft Certified: MCSE
• ITIL Foundation Certification
