Key Activities:
 
• Lead a team of design engineers for Wet Seal Systems post order Engineering.
• Implement & use of company tools in order to establish the necessary product selection complete with appropriate costing.
• Effectively manages the distribution and delegation of Project Requests within the team
• Accountable for Engineering Solutions organization KPI ‘s and focus on OTD & Quality metrices.
• Training & developing of empowered engineering team.
• Working directly with all internal stakeholders and align with them on Engineering Service Level to meet their expectation.
• Accountable for on time submission of. Engineering deliverables, technical clarifications, Comments and Deviations, value added engineering solutions, technical clarification during customer approval cycle.
• Completes Performance Touch Points and Year End reviews in line with company procedures
• Maintains effective Procedures to provide consistent support to both internal and external customers.
• Determine the proper application of such technologies and determine material to be used in the application and make necessary engineering calculations utilizing software. .
• Comply with and ensure department compliance with Company health, safety and environmental policies.
• Responsible for Clean order Intake to post order engineering team for seamless execution of Post Order Engineering deliverables.
• Support and implement all standardization and automation projects driven by Engineering Solutions Team to drive engineering excellence and increased productivity. 
• I- Project – job management tool for seal system engineering as a global tool, Support for migration from I Project to any alternative Engineering project / job management software as directed by Engineering Solutions management.
• Job Planning in DOSE, Distribution of the work among the team member and drive quality output well within the promise date
• Accountable for on time submission of. Engineering documents for customer approval, advance procurement, manufacturing drawings to operations as prioritized by Operation / Contract Manager / Project Managers.
• Distil best practices for achieving growth and help replicate best practices on a worldwide basis.
• Collaborating with the regional Engineering Managers in key customer engagements and technical alignment with customers and suppliers.
• Provide input to product line managers in identifying opportunities for product growth and new product innovation.
• Drive teams KPI and achieve Priority Action list projects of self and team members.

A Bachler or master’s degree (or equivalent) in an engineering discipline (Mechanical / /Instrumentation) with 10 + years’ experience in technology development, engineering, or similar functions. 
At least 2 years of Supervisor / team leader experience/Job Planning & Checking.
Experience
• Strong hands-on skills with P&ID, 3D Assembly / 3D Part modelling / 2D Draft environments, preferably in Solid edge.
• Domain knowledge in process equipment and seal systems in Polymer, Pharmaceutical, Chemical, Aerospace, Refinery and Turbomachinery applications.
• Strong working knowledge of how the mechanical seal business and markets work, and how to create growth through engineering processes and products.
• Good understanding of engineering process needs in design and operations, key business drivers and industry practices
• Excellent communication skills to articulate strategies and drive a coordinated action plan.
• Strong leadership presence with the ability to prioritize and communicate clearly across all levels of the organization
• Ability to work in a deadline driven work environment, attention to detail and multitasking are essential.
• Affinity with mechanical seal systems as essential technology in process industry
• An ability to work in an international environment with functional teams spread over various regions including corresponding willingness to travel
• Self-starter and highly motivated to achieve results with limited direct supervision.
• Excellent people skills and proven ability to lead a team
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English, a proficiency in MS Office.
