By bringing together zero trust security with network optimization, Netskope Borderless WAN allows customers to confidently provide secure, high-performance access to every remote user, device, site, and cloud. It also simplifies the on-boarding of traffic to the Netskope Security Cloud and NewEdge network, so customers can on-board more quickly and efficiently.

If you have an eye for delivering high-quality, high-performance, scalable, automation-driven software, and you would like to participate in all stages of product and feature design, development, and deployment, we would like to speak with you.

What you will be doing

• Interfacing with the product management team to scope and design features

• Writing highly scalable, production ready code

• Understanding and replicating complex customer topologies for dev testing

• Interfacing with QE and ensuring the scope of QE testing is meets requirements

Required skills and experience

• 13+ years of relevant industry experience, including product development, test and automation

• Strong expertise in L2/L3 networking concepts, routing protocols, VPN, IPSec and WAN architecture

• C++/Golang are the primary languages of choice; strong expertise required

• A solid understanding of Docker & k8s with a particular focus on docker/k8s networking

• Experience building and working with scalable cloud native multi-tenant architectures

• Familiarity with one of the major server virtualization products (ESXi, KVM) & IaaS platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP)

• Familiarity with functional test tools, packet crafting/replaying and security test tools

• System/server side experience for troubleshooting and strong knowledge of Linux

• Good working knowledge in CI/CD deployment in public clouds

• Familiarity with source code systems like Github

• Experience being part of the escalation layer for customer issues

• Knowledge of userland packet forwarding architectures is a must

• High performance DMA packet I/O e.g. DPDK/Netmap are a big plus

• Strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.

Bonus points for either of the following

• A good understanding of Python

• Experience integrating with GQL/REST API

Education

• BSCS or equivalent required, MSCS or equivalent strongly preferred
