About the role

Netskope Cloud Data Plane engineers architect and design one of the most scalable, high-performance cloud data planes in the world, processing 10+ Gbps of traffic, performing deep inspection using state-of-the-art techniques like AI/ML to detect activities and apply advanced policies like DLP, Threat and UEBA protection, all at line rate.

What you will be doing

• As a Staff Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and implementing IAM solutions in Python & GoLang.

• You will design and develop features for Netskope Authentication services.

• You will utilize your knowledge of IAM technologies & authentication protocol to build best in-class IAM solutions.

Required skills and experience

• 10+ years of work experience in the areas of network or cloud security solutions product development.

• Strong programming skills with Python or Golang.

• Experience in OAuth, OIDC, SAML, NHI (Non Human Identity) authentication & related IAM technologies.

• Experience designing and shipping APIs.

• Understanding of REST, HTTPS, TLS, WebSocket technologies.

• Experience building and sustaining cloud, network security software.

• Expertise with data structures and algorithms.

• Experience with containers and Kubernetes deployment.

• Self-driven, solution & customer oriented mindset.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills. Able to communicate in an open, transparent and consistent manner with team and co-workers.

Education

• BS Computer Science or equivalent required, MS Computer Science or equivalent strongly preferred.
