Responsibilities (essential to the position)
• Planning and coordination of test and validation for powertrain system (functional and durability tests).
• Planning of tests on vehicle & test benches.
• Take responsibility to cover all relevant aspects of functional and durability tests in the planning for powertrain on subsystem and system level
• Manage, monitor and steer powertrain testing (logistics, timing, …).
• Take responsibility for testing: Address and solve legal, budget, release, coordinative, operational and technical issues.
• Provide transparency about test and validation status. Define necessary activities and reasonable deadlines in order to meet vehicle project target for powertrain.
• Define planning and reporting tools.
• Owner of planning files (change management, drive necessary decisions).
• Take responsibilities for test and validation of any prototypes.
• Align commissioning planning with all relevant interface partners.
• Update planning to all upcoming changes, align with all involved parties.
• Alert management in case of unsolvable conflicts. Offer alternative paths.
• Risk management for commissioning powertrain.
• Early warning when facing responsibility gaps on vehicle level.
• Lean and self responsible working attitude
