Sr. Specialist Demand Planning

We’re looking for a Sr. Specialist Demand Planner to join the team and focus on growing our own Grocery Store “tMart”, which is the region’s first cloud store concept offering 30-minute delivery of groceries at hypermarket prices. The service has expanded rapidly across Kuwait, UAE, Qatar, Jordan, Bahrain, Egypt, Oman and Iraq!

This role requires you to organise the forecasting demand of supplies to stores, create POs for replenishment and maintaining availability in the stores, with a team of demand planners to manage Back Office data.

• Organize the transition to 3PL, manage relations, and secure Talabat with Egypt best practices.
• Be accountable for the overall demand planning/replenishment of Tmart stores and warehouses in Egypt and the performance of the direct reports
• Manage stock amounting to AED 20M while ensuring the issuance of ~ 8,000 POs weekly for stores and DC
• Ensuring timely and accurate analysis and reporting of inventory and purchase forecasts
• Provides DP/ replenishment insights and plans/ initiatives to keep availability at par with the management's business plan, accountable for the holding stock value, supplier service level. Aging stock optimization
• Be able to provide solutions and initiatives to solve problems with stocks in the warehouse and stores
• Guidance to store supervisors and admins to ensure smooth workflow
• Guide the commercial and operations pro-actively to ensure supplies and suppliers are not affected.

• Strong knowledge of the fundamentals of demand planning, as well as the ability to work on demand forecasting from A-Z
• Experience in FMCG in demand planning and replenishment is a must
• Experience in Warehouse management or 3PL partner relation is a must
• Data and detail-oriented, and tech-savvy
• Ability to guide senior-level executives and manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders
• Ability to lead, coordinate, and facilitate the work of others; have supervisory responsibilities
• Ability to take a broad perspective to problems and spot new, less obvious solutions
• Ability to perform a variety of the most complex tasks and/or lead one or more teams
• Be able to use knowledge of how the team integrates with other teams to coordinate efforts and resources to achieve shared and individual objectives
• Excellent analytical and communication skills, and always hands-on with several tools
