THE ROLE

You will architect and drive the technical vision for our next-generation Converged Architecture Platforms, integrating Pure Storage with the Cisco data center ecosystem. This strategic role is pivotal in accelerating customer success by designing and documenting full-stack FlashStack solutions and influencing the product roadmap. Partner closely with Product Management, Alliance Partners, and Field Sales to deliver world-class reference architectures and technical enablement.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

•
Own the Solutions Roadmap: Influence and drive the execution of the Converged Infrastructure (CI) solutions roadmap, focusing on FlashStack and integrating key hypervisor platforms like VMWare, Nutanix, and OpenShift, to meet evolving customer demands and market strategies.

•
Architect and Validate Solutions: Design, build, and demonstrate complex, full-stack solutions within our lab environment, integrating Pure Storage with Cisco compute, networking, and third-party technologies to ensure seamless functionality and robust best practices.

Create High-Impact Technical Content: Author and publish professional technical collateral, including Cisco Validated Designs (CVDs), white papers, and reference architectures, that clearly translate technical features into tangible business value for customers and partners globally.

Lead Solution Evangelism: Represent Pure Storage as a subject matter expert, leading presentations and public speaking engagements to proactively promote FlashStack and CI solutions to customers, partners, and prospects, directly impacting solution adoption and sales enablement across the globe.

WHAT YOU BRING

•
Deep Converged Infrastructure Expertise: Thorough, in-depth technical knowledge of the Cisco Data Center portfolio (Nexus, MDS, UCS) and major Converged Infrastructure platforms, including FlashStack. Includes expertise with Cisco management tools like Intersight, DCNM, and UCS Director, and a working knowledge of boot from SAN and Direct Attach technologies.

Hypervisor and Data Center Proficiency: Advanced knowledge of at least one major hypervisor platform (VMWare, Nutanix, Hyper-V, or OpenShift) and sound infrastructure knowledge of Linux distributions, storage, compute, and networking within a modern data center environment.

Automation and Scripting Fluency: Proven ability to apply and implement automation technologies, with required hands-on experience in scripting environments such as Ansible, Terraform, and Python to streamline proof-of-concepts, validation, and solution deployment.

Technical Content and Communication Leadership: Exceptional ability to outline, create, and publish complex technical documents (like CVDs) on schedule, coupled with strong verbal and public speaking skills to effectively convey technical strategies and customer benefits to diverse global audiences.

Location: We are primarily an in-office environment and therefore, you will be expected to work from the Bangalore office in compliance with Pure’s policies, unless you are on PTO, or work travel, or other approved leave.
