The Role

As a Senior Software Engineering Manager – Product Security, you will take a lead role in building, shaping, and managing the team responsible for developing the tools and frameworks that secure ServiceNow’s rapidly expanding AI and LLM ecosystem. This includes driving the creation of scalable, secure-by-design solutions that protect AI models, data pipelines, and agentic systems across the entire platform.

In this role, you will establish and refine business processes within the software development lifecycle, ensuring security is deeply embedded into every stage—from design and development through deployment and monitoring. 

Success will require building, coordinating and mentoring a high-performing engineering team, collaborating closely with security leadership, and providing deep technical guidance. 

To be successful in this role, you have:

• Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving. This may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the function or industry. 
• 12+ years of experience with software technologies and advanced coding skills with high-quality results. 
• Knowledge of cadversarial attacks of LLMs such as prompt injection, jailbreaks, data poisoning, and OWASP LLM Top 10 vulnerabilities.
• Knowledge of regulatory and compliance standards related to AI and data security.
• Strong interpersonal skills (written and oral communication) and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. 
• Experience building project plans, goal setting, managing deadlines, and monitoring project progress. 
• An analytical mind for problem solving, abstract thought, and offensive security tactics.
