Sr Software Architect - Remote

ProfitSolv is a SaaS business services provider for the legal and accounting industry. We are looking for a Sr. Software Architect to join our growing team!

We’re seeking a hands-on, full-stack .NET Architect to design, build, and scale modern SaaS products on AWS. This is a lead engineering role for someone who thrives on ownership, urgency, and innovation — not waiting for direction. You’ll lead by example, move fast, and inspire engineers to do the same.

You must be extremely proficient with AI tools (such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude, or custom LLM integrations) to accelerate development, improve quality, and enhance decision-making. AI-assisted productivity is expected to be core to how you work.

As a Sr. Software Architect, you will:
Architect, design, and deliver end-to-end SaaS platforms using .NET 8/C#, ASP.NET Core, and modern front-end frameworks.
Lead the development of scalable, event-driven, cloud-native systems running on AWS.
Oversee database design, performance optimization, and reliability efforts for MS SQL Server and Aurora.
Implement advanced AI-driven capabilities leveraging AWS Bedrock, SageMaker, or external LLM APIs.
Utilize AI tools daily (e.g., GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Claude) to enhance speed, accuracy, and code quality.
Define and enforce best practices for security, scalability, clean architecture, and CI/CD automation.
Collaborate with engineering teams to raise technical standards, improve delivery velocity, and maintain clear, consistent execution.
Provide technical leadership, mentorship, and architectural guidance across project teams.
Ensure compliance with internal engineering policies, development protocols, and security requirements.
Operate with minimal oversight while consistently driving clarity, urgency, and outcomes.
Perform other duties as assigned

This position follows established policies and procedures to keep confidential information secure.

A great fit for this position has:
8+ years of hands-on experience building production systems using C#/.NET Core and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Proven expertise architecting and scaling SaaS platforms in AWS environments.
Deep understanding of MS SQL Server and Aurora performance tuning, indexing strategies, and optimization.
Strong proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue).
Demonstrated history of using AI-powered development tools to accelerate delivery.
Advanced experience with Terraform or CDK, CI/CD automation pipelines, and cloud security best practices.
Strong systems-thinking approach with the ability to design scalable, maintainable architectures.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to lead through influence.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field preferred.
