A Day in the Life
We are looking for a dynamic individual to join a team of market development specialists who will be responsible for increasing indication-specific Aortic Valve Diagnosis and treatment. The selected candidate will possess strong leadership and communication skills, must be highly organized, collaborative and energetic. This individual must have comfort working with a wide variety of physician specialties, hospital executives at the service line level, and have a proven track record of success developing programs related to Structural Heart/TAVR. The person should possess strong process-oriented core competencies to help identify best practices, ways to improve processes and find ways to best promote and share those processes throughout the Area. At the same time, they should be able to recognize the best way to adapt and integrate these best practices into the various clinic and hospital/physician alignments.
A DAY IN THE LIFE - POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Lead Market Development Initiatives - Execute key market development strategies to advance the utilization of Medtronic Aortic Stenosis Treatment, Valve Program Efficiencies, and development of New to TAVR Facilities
· Identify and work with staff to create partnerships with key physicians, hospital executives and additional health care providers to develop champions within the service line
· Work to increase awareness and acceptance of market development programs to assist in driving key clinical pathways, improved outcomes, and device utilization. Programs like (but not limited to): Therapy Awareness, Valve Clinic throughout, risk share, Procedural and Post Op care pathways for efficiencies.
· Develop relationships with national and local referring and implanting providers, valve program coordinators and advanced practice provider societies to help develop programs that will be reproducible to other valve clinics
· Utilize key clinical studies and data to educate key stakeholders about therapy and implant selection based on patient risk factors; age and hemodynamic requirements
· Collaborate with physicians, hospital executives and service line administrators to increase public awareness and clinical pathway development for aortic stenosis and mitral regurgitation
· Guide use of targeted resources and programs to execute market development initiatives in the assigned Area
· Develop relationships with physicians, hospital executive and administrators
· Develop, execute and track Market Development strategies and initiatives
· Participate in targeted Association and Society Events related to Market Development areas of opportunity
· Partner with Sales Team, Sales Leadership and Marketing on customer expansion strategies and opportunities to reach new physicians
· Partner with sales leadership and representatives to educate key stakeholder groups about market development programs and patient treatment pathways
· Communicate the Medtronic value proposition to key accounts to drive branded selection of Medtronic therapies and services
· Exemplify the highest level of ethical business conduct and stewardship of Medtronic resources
· Available and willing to work and travel some weekends and evenings
· Travel estimated at 70%
MUST HAVE – BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
IN ORDER TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS POSITION, THE FOLLOWING BASIC QUALIFICATIONS MUST BE EVIDENT ON YOUR RESUME
· Bachelor’s Degree with 3+ years’ experience as a Structural Heart Program Coordinator or TAVR/Structural Heart Program Leadership (Director/Manager level) OR
· Bachelor's Degree & 10+ years’ experience in a marketing, sales or sales support role OR
· Master’s Degree & 8+ years’ experience in a marketing, sales or sales support role
Nice to Have
· MBA or Master's in Nursing or Life Science
· Consultative selling experience in medical devices, pharmaceuticals highly desired
· Previous experience building, managing and developing a high functioning remote team; either sales team or in-house team
· Pharmaceutical marketing and / or sales experience would be beneficial
· Experience in developing a market, i.e. strategy development, key tactics, execution and performance metrics
· Project management experience

· Ability to use computers and CT reconstruction programing
· Ability to travel extensively by car and plane. Must have valid driver’s license for state of residency and active vehicle insurance policy
· Sitting, standing 8 hours/day
· Wear lead apron for long periods of time (2-3hrs on average)
· Ability to operate a moving vehicle
· Ability to work in Cath Labs or OR’s with radiation exposure
· Ability to travel with overnight stay up to 50- 75% of the time (geography variability)
· Ability to conduct company business outside of the typical Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm work-schedule
· Must have a valid driver's license and active vehicle insurance policy. In addition, your driving record will be reviewed and will be considered as part of your application
ENVIRONMENTAL EXPOSURES:
· Infectious disease; radiation; blood borne pathogens
· Must be able to wear all required personal protective equipment (PPE)

Salary ranges for U.S (excl. PR) locations (USD):$86,400.00 - $129,600.00
This position is eligible for a short-term incentive called the Medtronic Incentive Plan (MIP).
The base salary range is applicable across the United States, excluding Puerto Rico and specific locations in California. The offered rate complies with federal and local regulations and may vary based on factors such as experience, certification/education, market conditions, and location. Compensation and benefits information pertains solely to candidates hired within the United States (local market compensation and benefits will apply for others).
The following benefits and additional compensation are available to those regular employees who work 20+ hours per week: Health, Dental and vision insurance, Health Savings Account, Healthcare Flexible Spending Account, Life insurance, Long-term disability leave, Dependent daycare spending account, Tuition assistance/reimbursement, and Simple Steps (global well-being program).
