DIRECT CLIENT REQUIREMENT
Short Description: The role of a senior Performance Partner within PPP is to take an active role in all aspects of an initiative including client interaction and relationship management.
This Labor and Operations Healthcare Consultant will have a strong analytical foundation to determine opportunities for improvement utilizing Lean methodology and possess confidence in making recommendations to the c-suite.
You will have the opportunity to be a part of our Cost Management Consulting organization which helps health systems with cost reduction initiatives around labor productivity and operational improvement.
Travel Commitment: 80%
Major Accountabilities
• Generate billings revenue by conducting assigned analyses, write and prepare reports, and assist clients in implementing desired changes.
• Complete detailed labor analyses in excel
• Develop reporting to assist decision support
• Effectively execute on initiative plans to ensure client satisfaction.
• Coordinate and deliver effective presentations to client audiences to communicate strategy and outcomes.
• Contribute to the development of sales presentation deliverables using prescribed formats and technology; proactively seeks out opportunities to participate.
• Identifies opportunities to improve profitability
• Participates in the development of market-valued intellectual capital, including best practice deliverables
• Focuses participation in specific professional associations that enhance Premier's reputation and awareness with the healthcare industry and its disciplines.
Required Experience:
• Experience in performance improvement consulting projects in a hospital required
• Lean / PMP certification preferred
• Ability to conduct productivity, resource utilization, staffing level, process improvement studies, analysis and implementation
• Ability to develop recommendations for labor budget and staffing allocation
• 5 years of healthcare internal or external consulting experience required - 7 years preferred
• A Bachelor’s degree required – MBA, MIE or MHA preferred
