What’s On Your Plate?

• Demand planning: ensure accurate forecasting of inventory replenishment cycles based on fleet size movements and usability duration of gear 
• Inventory management: Ensure correct processes, policies and proper execution of inventory management (stock-in, stock-out, returns, recycle). 
• Warehouse management: Develop the required procedures for the efficient and safe operation of the warehouses in all talabat markets 
• Expense Control: Identify potential opportunities to reduce expenses with same operational efficiency.  
• Equipment improvement: champion improvements in the riders equipment 
• Establish SOPs and processes for all elements of the warehouse operations, end-to-end 
• Recruit, train, develop, and manage performance of warehouse leads in different countries
• Instituting training and developmental programs for staff and monitoring effective implementation
• Identify opportunities for the region, prioritize, and make them happen!
• Be a champion for knowledge/best practice sharing & standardization across the region

What Did We Order?

• You have 8+ years of expertise in inventory and warehouse management, with a solid understanding of software requirements, process development and monitoring of operations 
• Ideally you have experience building inventory & warehouse management excellence from scratch 
• You have led cross-functional projects at scale, including effectively scoping, resourcing and managing projects and project teams 
• You have a hack for technology and interested in e-commerce, last mile delivery and automation
• You are very detail-oriented, structured, process-oriented and know how to prioritize -- you consider yourself as someone who delivers solutions and not bottlenecks to be solved.
• You are able to interact with senior-level executives and can manage the expectations of multiple stakeholders.
• You are someone energized by the unknown and look forward to learning each day on the job.
• You have excellent analytical & communication skills, and always like to be hands-on with several tools.
• You have robust interpersonal and intercultural skills. You can inspire several teams and stakeholders to rally behind a mission. You are collaborative and effective at influencing without authority 
• Eager to create things from scratch, test & refine along the way
