Job Description
As a Sr. Manager for L&D, you will be responsible for rolling out learning and development interventions that create business impact and drive growth for the organization. The learning ecosystem focuses not only on classroom driven learning interventions but also on peer-to-peer knowledge sharing/learning, self-paced online learning programs, social learning, hackathons, learning through curated resources etc. You will get an opportunity to lead multiple, cross functional teams to help with building the relevant learning solutions across various modalities for the organization.
Key Role and Responsibilities:
• Learning Strategy: Plays a key leadership role in arriving at a learning strategy and priorities for L&D and the client groups. This will include building a talent pool with deeper capabilities and skill sets to help drive business results more effectively. Ensures strong delivery of strategy with measurable outcomes.
• Consulting: Conducts strong needs analysis to then design and develop new (and update existing) learning and training interventions and curriculum based on organizational changes, system changes/updates, and client feedback. Consults on learning and development initiatives that have organization-wide impact. Ensures strong delivery to goals set out. Facilitate delivery of learning curriculum and initiatives in identified areas.
• Supervision and Development: Leads and develops large teams across various business units. Ensures learning interventions are meeting client expectations with the relevant organizational impact. Coaches and supports the team for development and for performance. Ensures all projects and milestones are achieved in a timely manner with the best measurable outcomes. Obtains necessary resources for the team’s success.
• Partnerships: Ensures collaborative partnerships with clients, Team HR, Target HQ and support groups.
• Process and Measurements- Create & roll out processes to promote and measure learning. Monitor and evaluate the learning interventions, programs, metrics, adoption, coverage and share back to drive efficiency within team and with clients.
• Budget: Manages budget; monitors spending on a monthly basis; ensures expenditures are in line with plan.
• Other: Manages multiple large-scale projects on an as-needed basis
