Job Description
The Senior Manager, IT Solution Owner guides IT projects from inception to delivery and works directly with business and technology teams to successfully deliver leading solutions that satisfy business needs, simplify the IT landscape and align with our strategic direction. To be successful this role requires strong problem solving, innovative thinking, project planning and business requirements definition experience. The Senior Manager, IT Solution Owner will provide leadership, drive for business value and results with the managed cross-functional teams including Project Managers, Business Analysts, and Developers via influence and relationship building.
The Senior Manager, IT Solution Owner will have responsibility for projects focused on Supply Chain solutions and processes, including Order-To-Cash, Retail, Inventory, Device Lifecycle Management, Forecasting and Planning.
Qualifications Minimum Required
8-10 years of IT solution leadership experience.
Experience working with SAP solutions, including SAP ECC, CRM or SCM.
Experience with Supply Chain business operations and processes.
Strong leadership, communication, negotiation and consensus building skills.
Ability to work independently, manage and deliver multiple projects in parallel while meeting tight deadlines.
Proven ability to solve problems creatively and resourcefully.
Prior experience managing people within project teams and as a people manager.
Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
Proficient with MS Office Programs and aptitude for learning new software quickly
Proven record of demonstrating proper judgment in managing difficult situations.
Desired
Experience working preferably as a consultant.
Technology retail or telecommunication industry experience, ideally within supply chain.
EDUCATION
Required
Bachelors Degree in Business or IT
Desired
Masters Degree in Business or IT preferred
Responsibilities
Analyzes complex business needs presented by the Supply Chain user community and/or clients and recommends technical solutions.
Reviews and approves all business requirements prior to the technical solution.
Ensures the consistency and maintainability of existing applications by creating, maintaining, and enforcing standards/procedures for implementing technical solutions.
Directs operations in executing production tasks according to a documented schedule that meets or exceeds customer expectations.
Collaborates with Project and Delivery Managers on detailed project planning and implements effective project controls by monitoring and status reporting for each assigned project.
Directs and prioritizes the work load of personnel assigned to the project.
Represents the IT function at customer review meetings.
Performs liaison duties between users, operations, and programming personnel in the areas of systems design, modifications or trouble shooting.
Builds alignment with business and other IT teams on priorities and deliveries against these priorities.
