About the role

Please note, this team is hiring across all levels and candidates are individually assessed and appropriately leveled based upon their skills and experience.

In this role you will help to hire and lead a new team to develop advanced GenAI protection solutions. You will conduct technical research, collaborate with other internal engineering, product management and AI/ML teams to design, develop and integrate innovative security capabilities into our platform. What you will be doing

• Help set and drive the overall strategic directions for GenAI security to establish Netskope as the industry leader in this area

• Hire, lead and inspire a world-class engineering organization, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and continuous improvements

• Work with product management to understand customer requirements, lead the team and collaborate with other engineering teams to design and implement high-quality solutions

• Research and integrate emerging tools and techniques for identifying vulnerabilities in LLMs and GenAI systems

• Balance urgency vs. the incredibly high quality bar expected by both our customers and the broader Netskope organization through clear and repeatable engineering processes

Required skills and experience

• 7+ years of overall experience, including 2+ years of managing high performance teams

• Strong execution ability. Self starter with can-do attitude

• Strong technical skills to be able to set the technical direction and get hands dirty if needed

• Excellent communication skills, be able to collaborate, influence and negotiate skillfully in tough situations

• Ability to balance delivery, resource and priority with a knack for managing both immediate needs and long-term investments

• Composed under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude

• Willingness to work with a globally distributed team in different time zones

• Startup experience in a fast paced environment is a plus
