As a Senior Manager for the Bangalore VDP org, you will be part of VCXP (Visa Client Express Platform) team, which handles all its client’s onboarding journey from creating visa account.

Deliver a multi-year roadmap that leverages Gen-AI capabilities to accelerate knowledge discovery and issue resolution, driving value to clients and to our business. AI-powered tools will be integrated into Client onboarding experience to redefine access and consumption of Visa assets, through predictive search capabilities, context-based knowledge delivery, as well as personalized virtual assistance.

We are looking for dedicated, curious, and energetic engineering leader who embrace solving complex challenges on a global scale. As a Senior Manager, Engineering, you will lead and mentor teams delivering innovative solutions, fostering a culture of technical excellence, and driving adoption of Agentic AI to accelerate delivery of new payment flows, deepen client relationships, and diversify Visa’s revenue streams. 

The Work itself: 

• Design code and systems that touch 40% of the world population while influencing Visa’s internal standards for scalability, security, and reusability 
• Collaborate multi-functionally to create design artifacts and develop best-in-class software solutions for multiple Visa technical offerings 
• Actively contribute to product quality improvements, valuable service technology, and new business flows in diverse agile squads 
• Develop robust and scalable products intended for a myriad of customers including end-user merchants, b2b, and business to government solutions. 
• Leverage innovative technologies to build the next generation of Payment Services, Transaction Platforms, Real-Time Payments, and Buy Now Pay Later Technology

Essential Functions:

• Works with product owners to gather and refine requirements for one product, adding and taking into account existing tools and solutions across departments.
• Develops and designs moderately advanced architect solutions that are robust and scalable, considering integrations with other solutions across the internal technical ecosystem.
• Provides domain expertise on the development of user documentation of solutions and implements standard processes in user documentation.
• Plays a significant role in the development and delivery of new features within a product from end-to-end.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Basic Qualifications:

8+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 11+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

8 - 12 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD

Built, managed and mentored teams of innovative and collaborative software engineers

Track record of driving GenAI adoption within engineering teams to enhance operational excellence and deliver innovative, value-added services at scale.

Knowledge of and ability to develop front-end code (e.g. HTML, CSS, and JavaScript) in support of package and product development. This includes the extension of capabilities of packages and products.

Knowledge of user interface design, which is the interaction where users and computers interact. This includes an understanding of how to provide an optimal industrial design experience through User Interface (UI) Design.

Knowledge of and ability to develop back-end (e.g. Python, Java, C++, PHP) code in support of package and product development. This includes the extension of capabilities of packages and products.

The ability to develop and utilize Application Program Interfaces (APIs), a set of routines, protocols, and tools for building software applications that specify how software components should interact and are used when programming graphical user interface (GUI) components. An API may be for a web-based system, operating system, database system, computer hardware, or software library.

Knowledge of and the ability to use database software (e.g., applications, web-based applications, information systems) to maintain, modify, and output data.

Knowledge of systems integration process in which separately produced components or subsystems are combined and problems in their interactions are addressed.

Knowledge of data structures, which consist of data organization, management, and storage formats that enable efficient access and modifications. This includes a collection of data values, the relationships among them, and the functions or operations that can be applied to the data.
