Sr Linux/VMWare Administrator

On behalf of our client, Procom Services is searching for a Sr Linux/VMWare Administrator for a contract opportunity.  This role will be based out of either Tempe, AZ or New Castle, DE.

Sr Linux/VMWare Administrator Job Details

Provide Linux RHEL support and VMWare support and in a large complex environment. Includes on-call support. Mandatory to have - RHEL 6.x – RHEL 7.x

Sr Linux/VMWare Administrator Mandatory Skills

• Red Hat Linux 7 - RHCSA - RHEL 6.x – RHEL 7.x or RHCE certification required Linux scripting skills such as bash, perl, shell scripting, etc VMware ESXi 5.x – 6.x (prefer VMware certification) Firewall/Networking/IT Security exposure & troubleshooting
• Excellent communication skills both verbally and electronically - Email, Instant Messaging, etc.
• Previous experience working in a virtual team environment
• Desired, but not mandatory: Vmware SRM 5.x - 6.x RHN Satellite 5.x – 6.x Windows Systems Administration AIX Administration
• Exposure to EMC Storage – Unisphere VMAX, RecoverPoint
• Exposure to Cisco MDS san switches
• Exposure to Cisco UCS Exposure to Red Hat Clustering
• Exposure to Dell hardware
