About the role: 

This is a full-time position under AvePoint as your employer. The role will be client‑facing, working directly with one of AvePoint’s clients. It follows a full onsite work setup, requiring on‑site presence at the client’s office in BGC, Taguig, from Monday to Friday.

What will you be doing? 

• Read legacy JSP UI and java codes to extract business rules and design APIs required to invoke existing Java methods.

• Document down the specifications of the API such as request and response schema, and mapping of the variables from the payloads to the UI fields, and where the APIs will be invoked from the UI to the SRS/SDS document.

• Work with BA on finalising the design with Client.

• Build the APIs and JUnit based on the documented design

Other qualities you will need to be a fit for this role include: 

• 1–5years related work experience

• Strong proficiency in Enterprise Java and related backend framework (Spring, Hibernate, JPA etc).

• Experience with enterprise DBMS solutions, preferably IBM DB2.

• Familiar with JSP & JSF

• Familiar with AWS cloud infrastructure and services.

• Familiar with frontend UI development, particularly with React and Typescript

• Familiar with Figma

• Amenable to work fully at the office, client side at BGC, Taguig
