Sr. Java Architect

Description:

•Must be very hands on and ready to wear several hats – Application Architect, Solutions Architect, Technology Guru and Technical Leader/Sr. Developer

•Well rounded skill sets in Java/JEE/GWT to provide end to end Enterprise solutions for Financial Services Industry in Compliance Group

•Ability to operate in a fast paced environment, assimilating large amounts of information quickly, and developing strategies and products with a minimal amount of oversight. Strong working relationship skills, with various stake holders particularly with senior executives

•Well versed in architecting appealing rich user interfacing applications with very good usability

•Expert in Core Java/JEE

•Good track record in terms of using open source frameworks and tools

•Expert level knowledge in terms of integrating Java/JEE systems with other technologies

•Experience in Web services and service oriented environment

•Guru in Business and Integration tiers with very good knowledge of Spring, Hibernate and JPA

•Very Strong in terms of refactoring, best coding practices and code organization

•Strong experience deploying applications in WebSphere application server

•Good working knowledge of Oracle database

•Working knowledge of Maven build process, Cruise Control and version control systems like Subversion

•Experience in Unix/Linux and Shell scripting

•Comfortable working with remote teams

•Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills

•Excellent oral and written communication skills

•Very good in terms of understanding requirements and converting into technical specification
