The Sr. Generalist, HR Operations plays a key role in supporting and executing core HR operational programs, compliance activities, and cross-functional initiatives across the organization. This position serves as a resource for employees and leaders, ensures accurate and compliant HR processes, and partners closely with HR leadership, Talent Acquisition, Payroll, Benefits, and Employee Services teams to drive operational excellence and continuous improvement. The role is well suited for a highly organized, service-oriented HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume environment and can balance day-to-day execution with process improvement and project support.
What You’ll Do:
• Manage the administration of operational processes used to deliver HR programs and projects.
• Manage and administer Relocation Program for employees across all divisions.
• Support H-1B application process as needed.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment requirements related to recordkeeping, postings, new hire reporting, I‑9s, EEO‑1 data, and audits.
• Audit and prepare monthly billing reports for the Benefits Team, making corrections and escalating issues as they arise.
• Work with Talent Acquisition team to maintain accurate Job Descriptions for offer letters and job postings.
• Prepare and analyze HR operational metrics (e.g., headcount, turnover, time‑to‑onboard, transaction volume) and provide insights to HR leadership.
• Support the execution of policy and process standardization within the HR Employee Services and Onboarding teams.
• Document, maintain, and improve HR standard operating procedures (SOPs) to increase efficiency, consistency, and scalability.
• Maintain Renuity HR document library on Renuity Connect employee site.
• Manage and track policy roll out and completion, as needed across all divisions and positions.
• Support organizational changes such as restructurings, acquisitions, or system conversions by executing required HR operational tasks.
• Support and manage the unemployment claims process, including timely response to notices, coordination with vendors and leaders, and participation in hearings as needed to ensure compliance and cost control.
• Perform other duties as assigned in support of HR operational excellence and business needs.
What You’ll Bring
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive HR Generalist or HR Operations experience, with demonstrated ownership of operational programs and compliance‑driven processes.
• Strong working knowledge of employment laws, HR compliance requirements, and HR operational best practices across multiple states.
• Experience managing or supporting unemployment claims, including coordination with third‑party administrators and preparation for hearings.
• Proven ability to operate effectively in a high‑volume, fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and sound judgment.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, particularly Excel (data analysis, reporting, and reconciliation).
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to partner effectively with employees, leaders, and cross‑functional stakeholders.
• Experience supporting organizational change, acquisitions, or system implementations is strongly preferred.
