Job Description

We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to support a high-scale job ingestion and aggregation environment. This role is primarily focused on backend development, with responsibility for maintaining and enhancing services that collect, ingest, and maintain job data from a variety of external sources. The engineer will also support automation initiatives and may contribute to internal tooling related to AI-driven workflows. Enterprise experience strongly preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Maintain existing backend systems and services

- Build new features for scalable backend platforms and microservices

- Design, develop, and support REST-based services

- Work with service-to-service communication patterns, including gRPC

- Support event-driven and message-based workflows using tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ

- Contribute to system design for backend systems operating at scale

- Support automation initiatives, including AI-driven extraction and configuration workflows

- Potentially develop tooling related to AI prompts or models

- Maintain existing frontend components using React and JavaScript/TypeScript as needed

Must-Have Skills

- Strong Java backend development experience

- Strong experience with Spring Boot

- Experience building scalable backend services and microservices

- Experience designing and developing REST APIs

- Familiarity with gRPC communication

- Experience with messaging systems such as Apache Kafka or RabbitMQ

- Strong database experience with MySQL

- Strong database experience with MongoDB

- Experience building backend systems at scale

- Experience contributing to system design

- Basic familiarity with React

- Basic familiarity with JavaScript and/or TypeScript for maintaining existing frontend components

Nice-to-Have Skills

- Exposure to GraphQL

- Experience with AI or automation workflows

- Familiarity with caching technologies such as Valky or similar solutions
