Job Description

iScale Solutions works with technology companies to effectively scale their development, support and operations processes.

We are looking for our first engineer that will be leading the full implementation of our first technologies. The ideal person should be able to start a project from scratch, decide on the best suited technology stack, set up the project’s infrastructure, set the right tools to ensure good collaboration with future team members and develop all the required product functions. You will be helped in the first project by an Android developer that will take care of all the client-end, android app development. In this regard, you will need to develop the project's’ API functionalities to ensure front-end developers can easily integrate products’ functions into our front-end applications.

Profile:

• 10 years of progressive IT leadership experience required
• Fluent in English (spoken / written)
• Ability to understand customer requirements and translate them in simple and fully featured products/functions
• Demonstrated experience leading the introduction of new technologies and standards into an evolving systems environment (e.g. web/cloud-based applications, SaaS, user vs. IT maintained applications, mobility applications, security, etc.)
• Experience in managing international and multicultural situations involving different types of clients and partners
• Understanding of ecosystems of companies, products, and stakeholders in the tech and digital space
• Manage project life-cycle, including breaking requirements down into technical deliverables and estimating the work required
• Ability to work with development teams in multiple location

Technical skills:

• Expert in modern web technology stacks (HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, MySQL, PHP, NodeJS)
• Sound knowledge of one or more framework/libraries (Laravel, jQuery, VueJS, AngularJS, ReactJS)
• Strong experience in using AWS and GitHub required
• Ability to manage, deploy Android and iOS Apps
• Experience in delivering client-facing web solutions
• Ability to build scalable web applications using modern frameworks
• Experience in developing RESTful APIs
