Job Description

Role: Sr. Front-End XAML Developer, VS, C#, MVVM, Expression Blend

Duration: Short-term

Rate: $55/hr.

Minimum Requirements:

Education and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field
• Hands-on experience with XAML Development

Skills and Knowledge:
• Experience defining coding standards and best practices
• Proficient in Microsoft Expression Blend
• Working knowledge of Visual Studio
• Working knowledge of C#
• Working knowledge of MVVM

Description:

Work closely with the project team to develop concepts, prototypes and front end production code to support new features and functionality.

The User Experience Design team is responsible for designing our award-winning websites, mobile applications and internal workstations. Our 200+ person team of elite user experience professionals works collaboratively with business and technology teams to design and deliver online experiences that enable our customers’ financial success. We are currently looking for a contract XAML Developer to join our fast-paced, entrepreneurial culture.

Responsibilities:
• Work closely with the project team to develop concepts, prototypes and front end production code to support new features and functionality
• Create multiple iterations of a solution in order to account for slight experience differences across applications
• Leverage existing styles and design patterns as well as develop new, extensible Controls that are both reusable across WPF and/or specific to WPF on the requirement
• Design and develop new XAML components using current XAML best practices to achieve “Blendability” of the project using Microsoft Expression Blend
• Produce XAML Code to the specification of a Visual Designer
• Produce high quality production-ready front end XAML code working closely with a C# developer
• Create interactive XAML prototypes for illustrating new interactions and animations
• Create high-fidelity XAML prototypes to support usability testing
• Fix bugs as well as provide “Fit & Finish” to the current front end XAML UI
