Senior Financial Analyst
Description
This position is responsible for the financial planning and analysis for the Finance.
Responsibilities include:
Budget/Forecasting:
- Provide guidance to budget owners on developing budgets and forecasts and utilizing the financial planning system (BPC). - Collaborate with region finance and clients to understand actuals/forecast, create realistic forecast and meet deadlines.
- Understand assumptions and ensure forecasted expenses are aligned with underlying assumptions.
- Identify and communicate risks and opportunities.
Results Analysis:
- Monitor performance to ensure financial commitments are met.
- Ensure accuracy of monthly results.
- Analyze financial data to understand drivers and investigate areas that with material variances or inconsistent trends.
- Analyze impact of current month results on forecast and financial commitments.
Process Improvements:
- Continuously identify and implement changes that will improve the efficiency and accuracy of financial planning and reporting while enabling an increased understanding of the financial results and associated business drivers.
Other:
- Perform ad-hoc analysis as needed.
- This position reports to the Finance Director with a dotted line reporting relationship to the Associate Director.
Qualifications
Education:
* Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Finance or Accounting
Required:
* Minimum of three (3) years of business related experience.
* Experience working with clients on financial planning and reporting activities.
* Strong analytical and communication skills.
* Good understanding of GAAP and financial controls.
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, SAP and BPC.
* Advanced knowledge of Excel
$80K to $95K plus bonus
