The role:

We are looking for a Frontend React.js Engineer to join our team and help build a next-generation investment web application. The ideal candidate has solid experience in modern web development using React.js and Next.js, a strong understanding of performance and usability, and the ability to collaborate closely with backend and mobile teams.

About the project

We are embarking on a mission to build a cutting-edge, direct-to-consumer digital investment platform for a leader in the financial services industry. The core challenge is to create a seamless and intuitive experience that captures and retains significant assets, particularly from individuals transitioning out of employer-sponsored retirement plans and those seeking to invest their personal capital.
This is a ground-up initiative to deliver a modern wealth management solution. You will be at the heart of a strategic, multi-phased program that fundamentally transforms how our client engages with its customers.

The work

The project involves architecting and developing a robust platform powered by a modern, API-based infrastructure. We will integrate with a leading fintech partner to handle the core mechanics of account opening, funding, and trading, allowing our team to focus on building a superior, client-facing experience.
Success requires more than just great code. You will join a dynamic, cross-functional team of product managers, UX/UI designers, business strategists, and compliance experts. You will work in close collaboration to navigate complex financial regulations, translate intricate business requirements into elegant technical solutions, and solve challenging integration problems with our external partners. This role is ideal for a proactive problem-solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and is passionate about building products that have a real-world impact on people's financial futures.

Requirements:

• English proficiency: C1 or higher

• Proven experience in web development using React.js.

• Deep knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript.

• Strong experience consuming and integrating RESTful APIs.

• Proficiency with version control via Git and collaborative workflows (branching, pull requests, code reviews).

• Hands-on experience with automated and/or end-to-end testing using frameworks such as Jest, Playwright, or Cypress.

• Good understanding of UX/UI principles, with a strong eye for visual details and usability — especially in financial or data-rich applications.

• Experience collaborating with backend teams using Node.js.

• Experience with CSS-in-JS or modern styling libraries.

• Strong experience building modular and re-usable components for React applications focusing on high maintainability.

• Strong experience with State Management frameworks such as ReactContext, Zustand and Redux.

Nice to have:

• Experience developing financial or investment web applications.

• Experience with CI/CD pipelines for web applications.

• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes-based environments.

• Knowledge of web performance optimization and best practices.

• Experience working with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure.

• Understanding of mobile platforms (React Native, iOS, Android) and experience aligning web and mobile experiences.
