AECOM Technical Services, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Emerging Technologies Solutions Analyst in Philadelphia, PA.
Job Responsibilities:
• Contribute to ongoing projects related to the assessment of roadways for automated vehicle deployment feasibility
• Identify use cases for artificial intelligence and machine learning to improve the transportation system and analyze them for potential implementation
• Enhance the capabilities of the AECOM AV-Readi tool
• Provide expertise in the analysis of transportation networks to evaluate the impact of connected and automated vehicles
• Assist AECOM’s transportation agency clients in developing Connected Vehicles (CV)/Automated Vehicles (AV) implementation plans and regulatory measures
• Investigate applications of computer vision and machine learning to identify roadway segments with safety concerns and inefficient infrastructure conditions for operating autonomous vehicles
• Manage, analyze, and visualize transportation data for traffic and transportation asset management projects
• Contribute to the development of proposals, technical reports, other deliverables as required
• Serve as a task leader in emerging technologies projects
• Coordinate, communicate, and develop presentations for internal and external clients
• Participate in industry events and develop relationships with other practitioners, stakeholders, and clients
• 5% domestic travel required
• Telecommuting permitted up to 4 days per week
Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field of study and 2 years of experience as a Solutions Analyst or in a related occupation. 
Alternatively, the employer will accept a Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Engineering, or a related field of study with no experience.
Position requires:
• Machine Learning and Computer Vision
• Data processing, analytics and visualization using Python or R
• ArcPro, and ArcGIS Online for geospatial analysis
• Microsoft PowerBI for data visualization
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Technical writing, including proposals, and project reports
• AutoCAD and Civil3D for design and drafting
