As the VP of Product for Developer Experience, you will define the vision, strategy, and execution for our internal platforms and developer productivity capabilities. You’ll partner with senior engineering, security, and product leaders to shape the next generation of tooling and paved paths that enable engineers to deliver innovation faster, with higher quality, and at massive scale.

The Person:
You're a strategic product leader with a deep empathy for the customer. Your ability to articulate a clear product vision is matched only by your dedication to executing on it. You can seamlessly shift from engaging with engineers about technical feasibility to discussing high-level strategy with executives. Your passion for innovation is rooted in a relentless focus on delivering user value. You naturally work across the organization, proactively identifying and removing barriers to help your team and others succeed.

What We’re Looking For:

• 15+ years of progressive product management experience, including 5+ years leading senior product leaders at scale.

• Build, mentor, and inspire a world-class team of product managers and developer advocates. Foster a culture of innovation, inclusion, and continuous learning while growing future product leaders.

• Proven track record managing developer platforms, internal tooling, or infrastructure products for large engineering organizations.

• Deep understanding of the software development lifecycle, CI/CD, and modern cloud-native engineering practices.

• Strong executive presence with the ability to influence and align C-level stakeholders across a complex, matrixed organization.

• Experience driving large-scale transformations that significantly improved developer productivity, velocity, and satisfaction.

• Exceptional communication skills, equally comfortable presenting strategy to senior executive leaders and discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers.

• AI literate with hands on ability to go from PRD to Vibe-coding

• BS or MS in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.

At Salesforce, we believe in equitable compensation practices that reflect the dynamic nature of labor markets across various regions.

The typical base salary range for this position is $218,400 - $365,200 annually. In select cities within the San Francisco and New York City metropolitan area, the base salary range for this role is $263,200 - $401,400 annually.

The range represents base salary only, and does not include company bonus, incentive for sales roles, equity or benefits, as applicable.
