Job Title: Sr Designer – Cold Weather & Fashion Accessories
Location: 5 days onsite at our NYC HQ
Summary: American Exchange Group is looking for a creative, detail-oriented Sr Designer to join our growing Cold Weather & Fashion Accessories team. This newly created position will work on existing business as well as new licenses coming on board.
You’ll report to the President, Handbags & Fashion Accessories and work closely with Production, Packaging, and Merchandising to support the design and development of innovative cold weather and fashion accessories.
Key Responsibilities
Create seasonal mood and trend boards
Develop accurate artwork, repeats, and specs using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Prepare design files for sampling and production
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure product execution matches design intent
Support product revisions, costing updates, and presentation materials
Stay on top of timelines, trends, and technical innovations in textiles
Contribute ideas and assist wherever needed throughout the design process
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Accessories Design, Fashion Design, or related field
5+ years of design experience in fashion/apparel or accessories
Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign
Strong Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities
Detail-driven with a collaborative mindset and eagerness to grow

Salary: The anticipated base salary is $90k - $130k annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, education, internal equity, and location.
