This position is accountable for selling, engineering, design & support of Commercial products within the South Area Regions, consisting of Georgia, South Carolina, and Florida.  The CVE will manage a team of commercial inside sales.  Responsibilities include job take-offs and technical assistance to Branch employees and customers as well as establishing and cultivating relationships with architects, engineers, developers, builders, National Accounts, and utilities.  The focus is to grow value added Commercial sales particularly within the plan spec and design build market channel. 
Responsibilities:
 
• Provides management to commercial inside sales team
• Provides selling support through technical assistance to co-workers, customers and others who may influence the purchasing decision.
• Provides technical assistance to influence favorable product specifications.
• Assists with equipment & controls selection identifying value creation opportunities.
• Conducts product training for internal Branch team, dealers and engineers. 
• Performs site visits, Joint calls with AM’s, take-offs and coordinates jobs for bid.
• Calls on architects, engineers, builders, developers, utilities, and national accounts as directed by the Sales Manager.
• Assists in managing inventory. 
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent HVAC Commercial sales experience required. 
• Minimum of four years of Wholesale HVAC Commercial sales/estimating experience.  
• Proficiency in a Windows operating environment, including email and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong interpersonal skills and decision-making ability.
• Effective and professional communication and organization skills.
• Strong knowledge of Sales & Marketing, and comprehensive knowledge of the principles of air conditioning.
