Sr. Business Analyst I (6595)

As a Sr. Business Analyst I, you’ll review, analyze, and evaluate user needs to create systems solutions that support overall business strategies, with the goal to make an impact across the federal government.

What you’ll do:

• Play a central role in bridging business stakeholders, product owners, technology teams, and third-party vendors

• Translate program requirements into clear, actionable documentation that enables efficient and accurate development and delivery.

• Capture business needs and facilitate working sessions

• Develop user stories and functional requirements and ensure that the delivery team has what it needs to execute with clarity and confidence

• Serve as a critical connective layer across business and technology, helping to ensure that loyalty program requirements are well-defined, prioritized, and delivery-ready

• Perform other duties, as needed

What you’ll need to succeed:

• Public Trust required (Or higher level clearance)

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst on technology or digital transformation programs, preferably within financial services, banking, or credit union environments

• Strong requirements gathering skills, including experience conducting stakeholder interviews, facilitation workshops, and process discovery sessions

• Demonstrated ability to produce high-quality documentation, including user stories, functional requirements, acceptance criteria, process flows, and use cases

• Experience with Salesforce platforms

• Comfort working in Agile/Scrum delivery environments; experience grooming backlogs, supporting sprint planning, and tracking delivery against requirements

• Ability to synthesize complex, ambiguous information from multiple sources into clear, actionable, and delivery-ready documentation

SALARY RANGE: $97,000 – $115,000

The salary range for this position is determined based on qualifications, skills, and relevant experience. The final salary offered will be determined based on several factors including:

• The candidate's professional background and relevant work experience

• The specific responsibilities of the role and organizational needs

• Internal equity and alignment with current team compensation

• This role is also eligible for additional compensation, subject to the terms and policies of MetroStar, which may include:

• Performance-based bonuses

• Company-paid training and/or certifications

• Referral bonuses
