Job Description:

We are seeking a Senior Boomi Integrations Developer to design, build, and support scalable integration solutions across our enterprise landscape. In this role, you will own the delivery of integrations end-to-end, partnering with architects and cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into reliable Boomi processes and APIs. You will also play a key role in EDI enablement, secure data exchange (SFTP), production monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous optimization to ensure data consistency, accuracy, and high availability.

Job Responsibilities:

Lead and contribute to the design of end-to-end integration solutions using Boomi AtomSphere, aligning business requirements, integration patterns, and enterprise standards.

Build, test, and deploy robust Boomi processes (data mapping, transformations, error handling, retries, idempotency) following Boomi best practices.

Own technical delivery across the SDLC: requirements refinement, solution design, development, code reviews, release planning, and production support.

Design and implement EDI/B2B integrations (e.g., X12/EDIFACT as applicable), including partner onboarding, mapping, validation, acknowledgements, and compliance with trading partner specs.

Configure and maintain secure connectivity including SFTP, key management, credential rotation coordination, and secure file handling patterns.

Develop and maintain APIs (REST) and integration services; implement API security (authN/authZ), throttling, and lifecycle management where applicable.

Integrate with NetSuite ERP using Boomi’s NetSuite connector and/or NetSuite integration interfaces (SuiteTalk/REST), ensuring data quality and consistency.

Implement monitoring/alerting and operational readiness: process reporting, dashboards/alerts, and proactive issue detection; use platform capabilities/APIs for monitoring where appropriate.

Troubleshoot and resolve integration issues (performance, data defects, connection failures) and perform root-cause analysis to prevent recurrence.

Maintain comprehensive technical documentation: interface specs, mappings, process flows, runbooks, operational procedures, and partner documentation.

Support reporting and analytics needs by enabling reliable data movement into downstream platforms (e.g., Azure data services) and ensuring traceability/auditability.

What We Are Looking For:

8+ years of overall integration development experience with 5+ years hands-on experience in Boomi supporting production integrations.

Strong expertise in integration fundamentals: synchronous/asynchronous patterns, file + API integrations, robust error handling, retries, idempotency, and data validation.

Proven experience delivering EDI integrations and managing trading partner onboarding/testing.

Strong experience with SFTP and secure data transfer practices.

Solid API engineering experience (REST design, authentication/authorization, payload/versioning strategies).

Experience integrating with NetSuite ERP (Boomi NetSuite connector and/or NetSuite integration interfaces); understanding of ERP master data and transaction flows is a plus.

Experience with operational ownership: monitoring/alerting, incident response, performance tuning, and support readiness.

Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally (IT, Operations, Finance, Trading Partners, vendors).

Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and deliver reliably in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Certifications:

Boomi Associate Integration Developer

Boomi Professional Developer

Boomi Integration Architect (preferred for candidates owning design standards and solutioning)

Additional Boomi credentials related to API Management and/or B2B/EDI are a plus
