We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to help build the future of engineering operations for one of our clients. You will work on a data platform that unifies engineering data across the software development lifecycle, enabling leaders to gain a single, actionable view of their organizations. The ideal candidate is comfortable working with backend services, data infrastructure, and cloud-based production systems, and enjoys collaborating in a highly distributed, international environment.
Requirements:
• Strong proficiency in TypeScript + Node.js and/or Python.
• Experience designing and consuming REST and/or GraphQL APIs.
• Solid experience building and running web services, data pipelines, and backend systems in production.
• Strong database fundamentals, including SQL and/or NoSQL. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, CircleCI, or similar).
• Hands-on experience operating production workloads, including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, tracing, and on-call practices
Responsibilities
• Build and maintain data infrastructure that ingests, processes, and transforms engineering data at scale.
• Design and implement backend services and APIs, balancing speed, flexibility, security, and scalability.
• Develop and productionize data pipelines, ETL/ELT workflows, and orchestration frameworks.
• Collaborate closely with product, data, and engineering teams to design and deliver data products and platform features.
• Ensure reliable operation of production systems, including monitoring, alerting, logging, metrics, and tracing.
• Apply security best practices across services and infrastructure.
