A Day in the Life

The Senior Advanced Analytics Analyst is a seasoned professional responsible for delivering high-quality data analysis, visualization, and reporting solutions that directly support strategic decision-making and operational efficiency. Operating within a squad-based structure, the analyst works independently under limited supervision, proactively identifying issues, ensuring data accuracy, and maintaining strong communication with stakeholders. The analyst will focus on delivering insights and analytics for Trade and PMO initiatives. The position demands a balance of technical proficiency, business acumen, and interpersonal skills to drive measurable impact across projects and processes.

This is a remote position based in Bogota, Colombia.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:

• Develop, inspect, mine, transform, and model data to improve decision-making and drive competitive advantage 

• Conduct statistical analysis to ensure accurate predictive forecasting and classification 

• Build and maintain advanced dashboards and reports in Power BI 

• Customize reporting functions to support end-to-end data processing needs 

• Maintain analytical systems and verify the accuracy of data 

• Act as a liaison between analytics and business stakeholders to ensure alignment 

• Collaborate within a squad/workstream focused on trade-related initiatives 

• Communicate effectively with stakeholders, proactively flagging issues and asking clarifying questions 

• Identify opportunities to enhance processes, systems, and reporting capabilities 

• Provide recommendations for process improvements based on in-depth analysis 

• Offer guidance, coaching, and training to junior analysts when needed 

• Contribute to the completion of squad and organizational objectives through strong collaboration and consensus-building 

Required Knowledge and Experience: 

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field 

• Strong expertise in Power-BI 

• Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience  

• Advanced English skills 

• Advanced knowledge of analytics, data visualization, and reporting. 

• Good communication and leadership skills 

Nice to Have: 

• Knowledge of Python is advantageous 

• Experience with UX/UI design 

• Knowledge of SQL is advantageous 

• Experience with project management
