About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Squad IT Lead to spearhead the success of our client's SAP Digital Deployment Project. This project is pivotal for enhancing operational efficiency, aligning IT and business goals, and empowering the organization with cutting-edge SAP technologies.
Our client is a leading European company known for its innovation and excellence in manufacturing and supply chain solutions across various industries. The successful candidate will work closely with stakeholders to facilitate the digital transformation journey, ensuring the seamless integration of SAP solutions and maximizing user adoption.
Location: Hybrid model based in Barcelona, Spain, or Budapest, Hungary (first 100% onsite, later 2-3 days/week)
Contract: Long-term contract (no benefits, medical, PTO...)
Responsibilities
• Lead and facilitate project governance, including steering meetings, action tracking, and stakeholder coordination.
• Monitor and control project budgets, schedules, and key milestones.
• Manage travel logistics and operational aspects linked to project activities.
• Identify, assess, and track risks; prepare regular risk and progress reports.
• Ensure deliverable quality and compliance with internal project methodology.
• Produce project documentation, including tracking dashboards, reports, and action plans.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in IT project management, specifically in SAP environments.
• Strong understanding of SAP applications and their business implications.
• Proven leadership skills managing cross-functional teams in multinational settings.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in Scrum teams is desirable.
