SQL Server - Postgres SQL DBA

The Engineer, Database Administration is technical role within IT Infrastructure. This position is primarily a hands-on resource for building and supporting databases but also contributes to design and planning activities. This role will support ConnectiveRx initiatives by collaborating across teams to provide innovative, efficient, and secure database solutions.

Knowledge (concepts of the discipline)

• Extensive working knowledge of database systems, reporting and data warehouse, integration services, analysis services, performance tuning, SQL tuning, troubleshooting, monitoring, Maintenance 

Skills (level of measurable proficiencies)

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server 2016 and up., PostgreSQL, Redshift. Knowledge of high-availability configurations including Availability Groups, performance tuning, capacity, growth and storage requirements, data encryption techniques, worked on technical stack with specific ability to diagnose issues with the following technologies .NET, C#, MS SQL, SSIS, SSRS, AWS, MYSQL, Scripting 

Education/Degree Requirements/Certifications (if applicable)

• Bachelor’s degree or higher 

Experience (number of years) for people management jobs, indicate years required managing people

• 5+ years database administration

• Strong written and verbal communications; attention to detail; strong organization skills; ability to manage multiple priorities well; calm under pressure; ability to support outside of normal business hours 

Compliance Requirements:

• Adhere to all Company Policies, Procedures, and other training consistent with ConnectiveRx's Information Security and Compliance Programs, including but not limited to the following compliances and regulations: SOC1, SOC2, PCI, HIPAA

 

• Maintain strict compliance with company and client policies regarding business rules and ethics, as well as applicable local, state and national federal laws

5+ years of Experience as DBA on SQL Server and Postgres SQL 

Good Communication

Candidate could be from any place in India. Bangalore, Hyderabad, Noida or Pune
