Who will I be working with? In support of Inflow's contract with the Government, you will be working alongside Government civilians and other Government contractors and instructors.
What level Clearance do I need? You must possess an active Top Secret / SCI clearance.

What will I be doing? Using your expertise in SQL database administration, you will be providing support to government and military stakeholders to ensure intelligence professionals worldwide have the right access to the right data consistently through a variety of support services. In addition, you will:
Provide database administration and management support for Relational Database Management Systems (RDMS) in a Microsoft SQL Server-based environment hosting databases across the supported networks for various .NET applications
Maintain quality of service and availability of DCD RDMSs by establishing and enforcing organizational defined standards ensuring the performance, integrity and security of databases through daily system checks with 100% of findings and statuses being recorded to DCD IT Portal
Ensure all SQL servers and instances have the latest DISA STIGs applied
Ensure healthy and reliable data replication is maintained using technologies such as availability groups, etc.
Configure and utilize database connectivity tools and utilities
Research, test, and implement new versions of the Database Management System (DBMS) for inclusion into DCD infrastructure
Develop and maintain database documentation
Develop, manage, and test backup and recovery plans
Review and complete assigned Daily System Checks
Update configuration management data
Monitor and assume responsibility of trouble tickets assigned to the Database Administration branch
Provide restoration services sufficient to ensure high availability
Provide after-hours on-site support, as needed, to respond to system/application malfunctions
Perform regular database testing
Conduct capacity planning and assist with storage and architecture design
Produce entity relationship and data flow diagrams, and database normalization schemas that are logical to physical data maps and data table parameters
Implement security requirements for least privileged access to organizational databases and monitor user access and security
Map out a conceptual design for database enhancements
Monitor performance and manage parameters to provide fast query responses to ‘front end’ users
Manipulate database objects and develop stored procedures, stored functions, and packages when needed based on customer requirements
Maintain, report, and update daily checklists
Other duties as assigned
What experience, training, and education do I need?
You must meet the minimum requirements:
Active Top Secret / SCI clearance
8 years experience in SQL database administration supporting and managing databases in a production environment
5 years experience installing, configuring, and supporting Microsoft SQL Server in High Availability Group configurations
5 years experience with T-SQL and ability to write scripts, stored procedures, triggers, and views to automate maintenance functions
3 years experience serving as a team leader working as both part of a team and independently to assign/review immediate tasks, set priorities, maintain task progress, validate team members’ work consistent with the organizational goals and deadlines
3 years experience mentoring junior personnel on proper practices and procedures
3 years experience planning and implementing security measures to safeguard information against accidental or unauthorized damage, modification or disclosure in accordance with industry best practices and DISA STIGs
Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA) or SQL Server 2016 or SQL Database Administration Certification
DoD 8140.03 IAT Level II/Intermediate certification
