SQA Engineer

We are seeking a passionate SQA Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an SQA Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our software applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, AI engineers, and DevOps teams to identify issues, validate system functionality, and ensure smooth and reliable product delivery across web, mobile, and AI-enabled platforms.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze business and technical requirements to prepare effective test plans and test cases.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
• Identify, document, track, and verify bugs/issues.
• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, AI engineers, and DevOps teams.
• Execute API testing using tools like Postman or Swagger.
• Validate AI-powered features, chatbot responses, recommendation systems, or AI workflows when applicable.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and sprint activities.
• Maintain test documentation and generate QA reports.
• Support production deployment validation and release verification.
• Contribute to automation testing initiatives when applicable.

• Years of Experience: Minimum 3 years of professional experience in software development.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science (or related field).

Requirements:

• Minimum 3 years of professional experience in Software Quality Assurance.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and STLC processes.
• Hands-on experience with Manual Testing, API Testing, Bug Tracking Tools (Jira, Azure DevOps, etc.), Database/SQL Queries, and Test Case Preparation.
• Familiarity with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright is a plus.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Experience working in Agile environments is preferred.

Nice to Have:

• Experience testing web, mobile, and AI-enabled applications.
• Basic understanding of AI/ML workflows, prompt validation, or chatbot testing.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and release validation.
• Basic understanding of performance and security testing.
• ISTQB certification will be considered an advantage.
