The Opportunity: 

Join our innovative team in the dynamic world of digital sports betting! We are looking for experienced professionals to primarily work night shifts in a digital Sportsbook environment, supporting crucial risk management operations during non-traditional hours.

This role follows a 4-on, 4-off schedule with 10-hour night shifts, ensuring 24/7 risk coverage. From time to time, there may also be a requirement to cover day shifts, depending on business needs, team coverage, and operational priorities.

Role Overview: 

As a Trading Risk Analyst, your responsibilities will include profiling customers, identifying betting integrity concerns, managing exposure levels, and addressing pricing issues. You will work closely with the Sportsbook Support team to resolve risk-related matters and contribute to compliance efforts.

Primarily work night shifts on a 4-on, 4-off schedule (10-hour shifts) to ensure uninterrupted Sportsbook risk management, with occasional day shift coverage required based on operational needs.

Use defined customer grading systems to accurately profile customers and their activities.

Provide insightful analysis of customers and bets by applying effective bet noting techniques.

Recognise potential integrity issues and ensure appropriate due diligence is applied when managing these cases.

Identify and address pricing discrepancies and technical incidents based on betting patterns and customer activity.

Work closely with the Sportsbook Support team to resolve pricing errors and take necessary actions to protect the business.

Communicate risk issues clearly and present them succinctly to different audiences within the Trading department.

Use scheduled reports to profile customers and assess their impact on the business.

Identify and take action on customers reaching maximum bet stakes to manage risk effectively.

Create and distribute daily reports summarising customer factor activity and key insights.

Ensure adherence to governance procedures and contribute to maintaining a compliant operation.

Maintain strong working relationships with Trading teams to ensure smooth risk operations.

Ensure all activities meet compliance and regulatory requirements to uphold the integrity of the operation.

The Successful Candidate will Demonstrate:

Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in a digital Sportsbook environment. 

Proficient in analyzing liability and levels of exposure within a digital Sportsbook environment. 

Good understanding of Sportsbook Trading Risk management systems and strategies.  

Proficient in Microsoft Excel at an intermediate level, with the ability to create visual representations.  

Strong numerical skills applied confidently in the workplace. 

Ability to make key decisions quickly in a high-pressure environment while adhering to robust processes and individual and team KPIs. 

Approach tasks analytically, using market and betting activity analysis to help meet financial targets and maximize performance. 

Strong eye for detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks. 

Enthusiastic about sports and eager to be part of a winning team. 

Fluent in English - ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English. 

Flexibility - being okay with working at different times, since we're here for our customers all day, every day, and sports happen around the clock.
