ABOUT US:
Sportradar’s Coding Academy Internship Program is a great opportunity to kickstart your career in web development. Over four months, you’ll learn how to write high-quality code, collaborate in real development teams, and gain hands-on experience guided by our experienced Sportradar mentors.
At Sportradar, we believe web development is a team sport. Together with other interns, you’ll go through an intensive training and exercise program designed to prepare you for the challenges of modern web development while gaining insights into the workflows of our five development teams.
We leverage a broad range of technologies, giving you the opportunity to learn and work with:
Java • JavaScript • TypeScript • Go • PHP • MySQL • Git • Jira
THE CHALLENGE:
During the program, you’ll get to know the daily routines of professional web developers and practice essential skills for successful collaboration, including:
• Writing clean, maintainable code
• Applying Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles
• Practicing Test-Driven Development (TDD)
• Engaging in collaborative coding and teamwork
• Leveraging AI-powered development tools to enhance productivity, improve code quality, and support architectural decision-making
ABOUT YOU:
We’re looking for motivated, curious individuals eager to learn and grow into professional developers. Ideally, you bring:
• Basic knowledge of at least one programming language (Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, PHP)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a growth mindset
• Openness to learning and proactivity in seeking help when needed
• A genuine desire to start a career in web development
OUR OFFER:
• A full-time, paid training internship (4 months, June–September 2026) for six interns, led by experienced Sportradar mentors

OUR RECRUITMENT PROCESS:
• Application Review – We’ll carefully review your CV
• Online Program Presentation – Selected candidates will be invited to a 60-minute online session to get to know us and learn about the program structure and requirements
• Video Interview & Coding Task – Demonstrate your basic programming and problem-solving skills while giving us the opportunity to get to know you better
• Developer Interview – After conducting a detailed code review of your task, we’ll invite you to discuss your solution and our feedback, as well as your motivation, experience, and growth mindset
• Feedback & Offer – We’ll provide feedback and, if it’s a match, extend an offer to join our Coding Academy Internship Program
Estimated Timeline:
• Application submission deadline: March 15
• Application review and program presentation: Second half of March
• Video interview & coding task: March/April
• In-person interview: Second half of April
• Feedback & offer: Early May
