Sponsored Residential Services (SRS) offers individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities the opportunity to live in safe, supportive, family-like home environments. We are seeking individuals who want to share their home and provide care, structure, and compassion to help someone thrive.
As a Sponsor, you will operate in your own home, providing daily support and supervision, while receiving guidance and support from CHCG. This is a contracted opportunity for professional caregivers who want to make a meaningful impact.
Key Details
Contractor Role:
Work as an independent contractor, not an employee.
Operate your home with CHCG training, guidance, and support.
Home Requirements:
Own or rent your home (landlord approval required if renting).
Must meet Virginia licensing requirements.
Most homes support one individual; some may support two.
Compensation:
Paid a daily rate based on the individual’s Supports Intensity Scale (SIS) level.
344 billable days per year, paid bi-weekly.
First payment typically arrives about one month after services begin.
Support from CHCG:
Training, licensing guidance, supervision, and documentation systems.
Guidance on daily care, service documentation, and required trainings.
Training:
Online and in-person options.
Topics include Medication Administration, CPR/First Aid, Human Rights, Behavioral Support, and Person-Centered practices.
Other Considerations:
May have another job depending on individual needs and approved backup staff.
Time off is allowed with approved backup or DSP staff.
This is a long-term opportunity for those interested in providing stable, supportive care.
