Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) – Elementary
Location: Easton, Maryland
Salary Range: $68,000 – $92,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
Position Type: Full-Time | 2025–2026 School Year
Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support students in an elementary school in Easton, MD for the 2025–2026 school year. This is a rewarding opportunity to help students improve their communication skills and access their education more effectively.
The ideal candidate is collaborative, student-centered, and passionate about helping children develop speech, language, and communication abilities that support their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language evaluations to identify communication disorders
Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students receiving speech services
Provide direct speech-language therapy to students individually or in small groups
Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, and families to support student progress
Track student progress and maintain accurate documentation and therapy notes
Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
Provide strategies and recommendations to classroom teachers to support communication in the classroom
Stay current with best practices and participate in professional development opportunities
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders (required)
Valid Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist license or eligibility to obtain
Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred but not required
Experience working with children in a school setting preferred
Strong communication, organization, and collaboration skills
