Specialized Jyotish Tradition Expert - LLM Training

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Jyotish practitioner with deep expertise in one or more specialized or regional Indian astrology traditions beyond the mainstream Parashara framework.

This may include:

• Nadi Jyotish (Bhrigu Nadi, Dhruva Nadi, Saptarishi Nadi)
• Jaimini system (Chara Dasha, Rashi aspects, Karakamsha, Atmakaraka analysis)
• Tajika system (Varshaphal / annual horoscopy, Sahams, Mudda Dasha)
• Distinct regional traditions (Tamil Nadi, Kerala Prashna, Bhrigu Samhita methodology, etc.)

Your role will be to create evaluation problems and documented reasoning examples that reflect the authentic methodology of your specialized system, helping ensure the dataset covers multiple valid classical traditions.

Responsibilities:

• Create 8–12 evaluation problems per month based on your specialized Jyotish tradition
• Clearly document the specific system applied in each problem and reasoning chain
• Design problems highlighting distinctive technical features of the tradition
• For Jaimini specialists: create problems involving Chara Dasha, Rashi aspects, Karakamsha Lagna, Atmakaraka analysis
• For Nadi specialists: design problems involving planetary combinations and event-linked predictive logic
• For Tajika specialists: produce Varshaphal chart problems including Sahams and Mudda Dasha
• Create comparative problems where relevant (e.g., Parashara vs Jaimini analysis differences)
• Provide references to classical texts (e.g., Jaimini Sutras, Bhrigu principles, Tajika Neelakanthi) supporting interpretations
• Maintain clear written documentation explaining reasoning steps in structured English

Commitments Required: 8 hours per day with an overlap of 4 hours with PST.

Employment type: Contractor assignment (no medical/paid leave)

Duration of contract: 6-8 weeks

Location: India

Requirements:
• Minimum 5 years of active practice in the specialized system
• Formal training, mentorship, or Gurukula lineage in at least one specialized Jyotish system:
• Nadi
• Jaimini
• Tajika
• or recognized regional classical system

• Ability to clearly explain how the specialized system differs from Parashara in:
• methodology
• chart analysis approach
• predictive logic

• Thorough knowledge of the primary classical texts associated with the system
• Strong English writing ability for structured reasoning documentation
