COSMOTE Global Solutions, as a member of OTE Group of Companies, is an ICT Systems Integrator delivering a broad range of ICT Solutions and Services.

CGS provides a broad range of ICT Services focusing on: Cloud, Data Centre operations, Networking, Cybersecurity, BI and Data Warehouse, Big Data, Service Desk, Proactive Monitoring, Operations and Support, Service Management, Project and Programme Management, and Professional Services.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough review and analysis of functional and technical requirements
• Design software solutions and provide accurate effort estimations
• Implement programming changes using Python, Java, JavaScript, XML, WSDL, and SQL
• Perform unit testing to validate functionality and ensure code quality
• Investigate and resolve software bugs and defects across environments
• Provide second-level support for production issues and escalated technical inquiries
• Follow up on reported problems and ensure timely resolution
• Perform root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues and improve system stability
• Automate CI/CD processes and manage infrastructure provisioning using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools

Requirements:
• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least 11 years of experience as a software engineer in SQL and Javascript technologies (React; Angular, etc).
• Proficiency in English
• At least 2 years of experience in Outsystem
• At least 3 years of experience in React/ReactNative/JavaScript
• At least 3 years of experience with Anaconda and Python
• Proven experience in JBOSS/Java/JSF/Spring Boot
• At least 7 years experience in provisioning of infrastructure on the cloud mainly AWS and Azure and experience in Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes, Linux, HELM
• At least 5 years of experience in coordinating the 2nd level production support on an application supported by a team of minimum 20 IT people
• Experience with agile development methodologies.
• Experience with relational databases (e.g., Sybase DB, Oracle DB, Postege DB).
• Experience in building APIs and Kafka for both internal and external products.
• Working knowledge of DevOps and CI/CD using Jenkins and Maven
• Continuous build and integration using Sonar and Liquibase
• Github or another source code repository
• Experience with the following frameworks and technology:
• • Java (11), Spring Framework, REST / SOAP webservices, JMS, React
• • Shell scripting (Unix, bash, shell)
• • DBMS Systems (Oracle, Sybase, MySQL)
• • Application Servers (JBoss, Tomcat, NodeJS, Spring, etc.)
