We are looking for a Specialist Mapper Engine Consultant to join a leading international project within the Markets domain. The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in market risk, data analysis, and system architecture, along with solid technical and DevOps skills.

You will be responsible for analyzing, validating, and deploying solutions in a Big Data environment, ensuring high-quality delivery and effective communication with stakeholders.

 

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and validate data and system outputs

• Work on Market Risk calculations, including VaR (Value at Risk) using Taylor methodology

• Participate in UAT testing, deployments, and production releases

• Collaborate with business users and stakeholders

• Contribute to Big Data architecture design and implementation

• Manage and monitor batch processes (e.g., Control-M)

• Ensure high-quality deliverables through testing and best practices

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or related field

• Minimum of 5 years of professional experience

Technical Skills

• Advanced Python 3

• Intermediate knowledge of C/C++

• Strong experience with Linux

• Docker & containerization

• Terraform (Infrastructure as Code)

• Kubernetes

• Unit testing practices

• DevOps mindset

Tools & Platforms

• Jira, Jenkins, Git, Confluence

• AWS cloud environment

Databases

• Redis

• Elasticsearch

Additional Requirements

• Knowledge of Big Data architecture

• Experience with batch processing tools (e.g., Control-M)

• Familiarity with monitoring platforms (e.g., Grafana)

• Experience with planning and automation platforms

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication with business users and stakeholders

• Strong willingness to learn new technologies

Languages

• English – High level (mandatory)

Nice to Have

• Spanish (professional or conversational level)
