We are looking for Specialist, Data & AI Governance (2 positions of Junior - Senior Level) to oversee the development and implementation of governance frameworks for data management and artificial intelligence initiatives, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations, establishing data quality standards, and promoting ethical AI practices.
Responsibilities
Data Governance Framework:
Develop and implement a comprehensive data governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures.
Define and maintain data governance roles and responsibilities across the organization.
Ensure alignment of data governance initiatives with business goals and regulatory requirements
Data Quality Management:
Establish data quality metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor and improve data quality.
Collaborate with data stewards and data owners to identify and resolve data quality issues.
Implement data profiling, cleansing, and enrichment processes
Data Stewardship:
Work with data stewards to ensure data is managed and used in compliance with established policies.
Provide guidance and support to data stewards in their roles and responsibilities.
Conduct training and awareness programs on data governance and stewardship
Data Security and Privacy:
Ensure data security and privacy policies are implemented and adhered to.
Monitor compliance with data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA).
Collaborate with IT and security teams to address data security and privacy concerns
Metadata Management:
Develop and maintain a metadata management strategy to enhance data discovery and usability.
Implement metadata tools and processes to catalog and document data assets.
Ensure metadata is accurate, up-to-date, and accessible to relevant stakeholders
AI Governance Framework:
Develop and implement an AI governance framework, including policies, standards, and procedures to ensure ethical and responsible AI use.
Define AI governance roles and responsibilities across the organization.
Ensure AI models are transparent, explainable, and free from bias
AI Risk Management:
Establish AI risk management processes to identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with AI systems.
Monitor AI system performance and compliance with governance policies.
Collaborate with AI development teams to ensure ethical AI practices are integrated into the development lifecycle
AI Ethics and Compliance:
Ensure compliance with AI-related regulations and ethical standards.
Develop and deliver training programs on AI ethics and governance.
Foster a culture of ethical AI use and awareness across the organization
Client Engagement:
Work directly with clients to understand their data and AI governance needs and challenges.
Design and implement customized data and AI governance solutions for clients.
Provide ongoing support and guidance to clients to ensure successful deployment and adoption of governance frameworks
Data and AI Governance Committee:
Facilitate and coordinate data and AI governance committee meetings.
Prepare and present governance reports and updates to senior management.
Drive consensus and decision-making on data and AI governance matters
Continuous Improvement:
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in data and AI governance.
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement enhancements.
Foster a culture of data and AI governance and quality across the organization and with clients
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Science, or a related field.
3- 5+ years of experience in data governance, data management, AI governance, or a related role.
Strong understanding of data and AI governance principles, frameworks, and best practices.
Experience with data quality management, metadata management, data stewardship, and AI ethics.
Knowledge of data protection regulations, data security best practices, and AI-related regulations.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Certification in data governance or data management (e.g., CDMP, DGSP) and AI governance or ethics is a plus.
